Functions
What we have studied:
We have studied different types of functions. We learned how to graph polynomial functions, find the zeroes and identify the end behaviour. Furthermore, we learned how to evaluate logarithms.
Standards where I performed well
Graphs polynomial functions, identifying zeros when suitable factorizations are available, and showing end behavior.
I quickly picked up on this concept due to the fact that factoring is one of the things I like to do the most. Furthermore, understanding functions and what they represent helped me understand what the end behaviour will be and why.
Standards upon which I might improve
For exponential models, express as a logarithm the solution to abct = d where a, c, and d are numbers and the base b is 2, 10, or e; evaluate the logarithm using technology.
How I might improve upon those standards
I could watch all the assigned Khan Academy videos once again in order to obtain a better understanding of the topic. Furthermore, I could go over the workbook pages again and get help from others.
